The Wealth Structure Coordination Problem

The Wealth Structure Coordination Problem

May 29, 2026

When the Palisades fire hit, many homeowners discovered their insurance hadn't kept pace with what their homes were actually worth. Rebuild specialists estimated the average payout was roughly $600 per square foot short of actual rebuild costs. Good people. Good advisors. Nobody watching the whole picture.

That's the Wealth Structure Coordination Problem.

And insurance drift is just one symptom. Ask yourself:

→ Has your estate plan been updated since your business or real estate portfolio grew significantly?

→ Do your entities, trusts, and accounts actually own what they're supposed to — or has titling drifted?

→ Is your tax strategy talking to your estate plan, or are they operating in separate conversations?

→ If something happened to you tomorrow, does anyone know where everything is and what to do?

→ Does anyone in your advisory ring have the full picture — or does each advisor only see their piece?

Most successful people have good advisors. Very few have a system.

Your wealth may not have a performance problem. It may have a coordination problem. Check out our PDF download for more details:
